rave7 upgrades sitemap/search engine submission
Feb 21, 2010 in rave7 Updates   0 comments

We've upgraded the Google sitemap option in the Admin Console and renamed it to "XML Sitemap". The option now submits your site to Google, Yahoo, Ask,com and Yahoo.

We've also added a scheduling option that submits your site to the supporting search engines automatically once a week.

To activate this option, select "Setup" from the "System" menu, and then select the "Scheduling" option:

Then scroll down to the bottom of the form where you'll find the new option, set it to "Y":

The rave7 sitemap file conforms to the specifications set out by www.sitemaps.org which the "big 4" search engines all support.
